I began my interest in art around the age of 8 or 9. I loved to draw, my favorites being the art prints of babies, cats, kittens, and other animals that appeared on the Northern Toilet tissue packages. I guess I've always had a GOD given talent and credit instruction from my Art teacher Blanche Fisher in High School, and a couple years of painting lessons from Wild animal artist, Dennis Anderson, from whom I learned a real love of animal painting. I work in multiple mediums including oils, acrylics and watercolor. Of course, my favorite subject is cats. The basis for the ArtWorkz cattery website design is my oil painting of a red tabby kitten pictured below. These low resolution photos are representative of my work. Contact me for more information.
